These creatures feed on temporal energy, and their bites can cause accelerated aging in organic matter or rapid decay in advanced armor and equipment. Chrono-Parasites are considered an invasive species within the Quantum Veil, appearing spontaneously in areas where temporal energies are destabilized. Their origin is believed to be linked to the breakdown of temporal barriers within certain pocket realities, allowing them to cross into the prime universe during Veil breaches.
