Echo Marauders are tragically warped beings within the Quantum Veil, believed by many operatives to be former comrades permanently trapped and corrupted by the Veil's energies. They manifest as spectral, humanoid figures, often shrouded in shadowy distortions or appearing as fleeting phantoms. Despite their non-corporeal appearance, they possess uncanny physical strength and can launch devastating phantom attacks that bypass conventional defenses, striking at the mind or energy systems of their targets.

These entities are masters of psychological warfare, capable of creating vivid illusions to disorient and separate operatives, leading them into traps or deeper into unstable pocket realities.
