Reality Shredders are not creatures in the traditional sense, but chaotic masses of raw quantum energy and fractured light that constantly shift form. They are one of the most unpredictable and dangerous environmental threats within the Quantum Veil. Their presence destabilizes the local environment, causing a terrifying array of phenomena that can cripple operative missions.

These anomalies induce sudden, localized gravitational shifts, turning solid ground into a perilous, undulating surface. They can also create temporal distortions, causing time to accelerate, slow, or even briefly loop in their vicinity, disorienting and trapping unwary operatives. Perhaps most dangerously, they emit a powerful quantum static that can cause severe tech overloads and system failures in even the most shielded equipment, rendering advanced gear useless.

Reality Shredders are often encountered in highly unstable Veil zones, such as the deepest parts of the Abyssal Chasm or areas of intense flux within the Crystalline Spires. Evading or bypassing them is often the only viable strategy, as their amorphous nature makes direct engagement extremely difficult and hazardous.

Reality Shredders are thought to be direct manifestations of the Quantum Veil's inherent instability and the raw, uncontrolled energies that define its boundaries. They are the physical embodiment of a collapsing or highly volatile pocket reality, representing the Veil's ultimate destructive potential. Unlike other entities, they do not appear to possess any form of will or intent; they are simply a force of nature, driven by the chaotic principles of the Veil itself.
